Nature Museum: Show Your Treasures

Curate and present a small collection of natural treasures gathered throughout the year, summarizing the year of learning.

All year, you have collected leaves, rubbings, and memories outside. Today, build your very own nature museum!

Pick your favorite treasures and tell their stories to your family.

📋 For the teacher
Teach it (10–15 min):
  • Help your child gather a small handful of favorite items or drawings from across the year.
  • Let them arrange the display and lead the museum tour themselves.
  • Ask follow-up questions during the tour, like a curious museum visitor.
  • Celebrate the whole year: this is a proud, joyful finish, not a final exam.
Talk about it:
  • Which treasure are you proudest of?
  • What is the most surprising thing you learned this year?
  • If you added one more thing to your museum, what would it be?

Mastery looks like: They can present at least two personal treasures and describe something real they learned connected to each one.

Common stumbles: Struggling to pick just a few favorites from a whole year is common, and a good problem to have; letting them choose freely, even a lot of items, keeps the pride intact.
