Use the full scientific method (question, hypothesis, variables, data, conclusion) for your year-end project plan.
- 1.Write a testable question for a science fair project based on any unit from this year.
- 2.Write a hypothesis for your question that includes a reason ("X will happen, because Y").
- 3.Identify the independent variable and the dependent variable in your planned project.
- 4.Name two variables you would need to control (hold constant) in your project for it to be a fair test.
- 5.Write a short conclusion paragraph for your project, assuming your data DID support your hypothesis, referencing specific (real or realistic) numbers.
