Delivery Day

Deliver the finished multimedia presentation and complete an honest self-assessment against the delivery skills practiced.

This week is delivery day: the presentation you researched, built, and rehearsed gets its real audience. A few nerves are completely normal, even for experienced speakers -- steady breathing and trust in your rehearsal are the best tools for managing them.

Right after delivering, a self-assessment while the experience is still fresh is more useful than one written days later. Check yourself honestly against the specific skills practiced: eye contact, pace, volume, pauses instead of filler words, and one main idea per slide.

📋 For the teacher
Teach it (10–15 min):
  • Be a genuinely attentive audience member yourself -- your real engagement helps calm nerves more than any pep talk.
  • Ask for the self-assessment immediately afterward, while details are still fresh and specific.
  • Balance the self-assessment with genuine, specific praise for what went well, not just a list of fixes.
  • Treat any nerves or stumbles as completely normal, not as a failure of the whole project.
Talk about it:
  • What specifically went well in your delivery?
  • What is one specific thing you would do differently next time?
  • How did your rehearsal help you during the real delivery?

Mastery looks like: They deliver the presentation and complete an honest, specific self-assessment against the delivery skills practiced.

Common stumbles: Writing a vague self-assessment ("it went fine") instead of naming specific moments of strength or struggle.
