Revising for Cohesion — Homework
Revise your full draft for verb tense consistency and a cohesive introduction and conclusion.
- 1.Fix the tense slip: "Monarchs gather in huge groups. They rested together in tall trees."
- 2.List two or three key words or ideas that repeat across your whole report.
- 3.Revise your conclusion so it echoes the hook idea from your introduction.
- 4.Read your whole draft aloud in one sitting. Note any spot where the tense still feels inconsistent.
