Recommendation letters to next year — Homework
Write a full recommendation letter to a future fifth grader about your favorite book from this year.
- 1.Which book are you recommending, and what genre is it?
- 2.What is one early hook from the book that would convince a new reader, without spoiling anything?
- 3.What reading skill from this year did this book help you practice?
- 4.Write your full recommendation letter, four to six sentences, to a future fifth grader.
- 5.True or false: a strong recommendation should reveal how the book ends so the reader knows what they are getting into.
