Choose a chapter or short story you finished this week. Write an objective summary -- key events only, your own words, no opinions.
- 1.Name the chapter or story and the main character.
- 2.Write an objective summary in two to four sentences: first, then, finally.
- 3.Find one opinion word you almost used and write the objective fact instead.
- 4.What is one detail you left OUT of your summary on purpose? Why did it not belong?
