Present and explain one investigation or design from this unit, describing the energy evidence clearly to an audience.
This week you become the teacher. Choose one investigation or design from the past eight weeks, the marble collision lab, the heat conduction test, the circuit, the rubber band, or your energy-transfer machine, and prepare to explain it clearly to someone else, as if they had never studied energy before.
A good science explanation has three parts: what you did, what you observed, and what it proves. Scientists present their work all the time, at real conferences and fairs, so other people can check their thinking and learn from it. This week is your turn.
Mastery looks like: They can clearly present one investigation from the unit, including method, observation, and conclusion, in their own words.
Common stumbles: Describing only what happened without explaining what it proves about energy; rushing through the explanation without organizing it into clear parts.
