Angles: degrees, radians, arc length, and angular velocity — Homework
Convert to radians (or degrees) first if the problem needs it, and always name the quadrant before finding a reference angle.
- 1.Convert 210 degrees to radians.
- 2.Convert 11pi/6 radians to degrees.
- 3.Find a positive coterminal angle for 400 degrees, reduced to a value between 0 and 360.
- 4.Find the reference angle for 320 degrees, and state its quadrant.
- 5.A circle has radius 8 and a central angle of 3pi/4 radians. Find the arc length, and then find the angular velocity (radians per second) of a point that sweeps this angle in 2 seconds.
